A two-story residential house located in Randugede, Yogyakarta. Designed for a young family using a modern tropical approach — featuring deep overhangs, cross ventilation, and open-plan spaces seamlessly integrated with the backyard garden.
Primary materials include exposed brick and locally sourced timber. The north-facing front facade features minimal openings for privacy and heat reduction, while the rear facade opens up generously to maximize natural light and airflow.
Structure: conventional reinforced concrete, lightweight steel roof framing.
Materials: exposed brick, tempered glass, reclaimed teak wood, clay roof tiles.
